Introduction to Progress RPG
Progress RPG blends productivity with play, turning everyday tasks into engaging quests set in a dynamic, medieval-inspired world. Originally conceived as two separate ideas—a productivity app to help me stay on track and a game with interconnected social, economic, and environmental systems—Progress RPG brings both concepts together to create a unique experience.
Born out of a need for a solution I couldn’t find elsewhere, Progress RPG began its journey in April 2020. Combining the structure of productivity tools with the fun of gaming, the idea evolved into something bigger than just a personal project. As I continue to build the app, the involvement of the community is at the heart of the development process. Feedback, suggestions, and the support of players will directly shape how the game grows and improves.

By incorporating small, manageable tasks, the app supports habit formation and helps users break down big goals into achievable steps. Quests are dynamically generated based on factors like season, character experience, and in-game events, keeping the experience fresh and exciting.
